Eala Bhán is located in the heart of Sligo Town on a beautiful stretch of the Garavogue River. The décor here has a cool urban brasserie bistro feel with dark wood floors, subtle lighting, well-spaced tables, and it is a place in which there is always a buzz.

The food is classic with a contemporary twist and offers everything you could possibly want.  All of the local seafood is hand-selected and artistically prepared to perfection. All of the steak cuts stand tall with the superb flavour of aged beef that is cooked to your liking.  Produce is organic whenever possible, sourced from local suppliers and direct form local producers.

The name Eala Bhán is gaelic for “White Swan”. These beautiful birds can often be seen from the two main windows of the restaurant and they often frequent the Garavogue River that runs alongside the restaurant.

about

Anthony Gray is a Sligo native and always viewed Sligo as a foodie town that was crying out for its local produce to be championed. He knows all his local suppliers and producers on a first name basis, personally knows the cheese makers, fishmongers and supports local businesses and local artisan suppliers.  With his deep appreciation for seasonal food, Anthony attends the farmers market every Saturday and forages for wild ingredients for use in his restaurants.

Anthony opened two multi-award winning restaurants in quick succession; Trá Bán opened in 2009 in Strandhill and Eala Bhán opened in Sligo Town in 2011.
